What is the purpose of the Advance Fresno stimulus check?
The purpose of the Advancing Fresno County Guaranteed Income Program is to alleviate concentrated poverty in Southwest Fresno and Huron counties by providing 150 households with children under the age of five with a $500 stimulus check each month for a year. The goal of this stimulus check program was to combat the quadrupling of child poverty by 2022. This program, which is only available to residents of Fresno County, is intended to assist people who are having difficulty making ends meet or paying their bills. Like the Stockton prototype, the program has no limitations on monthly revenue spending.

How is the Fresno stimulus check payment funded?
To assist US citizens in recovering financially from the COVID-19 epidemic, the Department of the Treasury (DoT) has been providing Economic Impact Payments (EIPs), sometimes known as stimulus checks, since March 2020. States are offering financial assistance to citizens to help them save money for essentials and strengthen their financial stability as a result of rising inflation. The contributions intended to alleviate financial difficulties brought on by increasing inflation and restricted access to healthcare should be understood by eligible recipients.
Moreover, residents of California should be informed that the Fresno stimulus check program is currently working with government organizations to submit waiver applications for income exemptions. If not, eligible residents can forfeit their chance to obtain further benefits. According to recent reports, a waiver from the California Department of Social Services allowed Fresno stimulus checks to remain eligible for CalFresh and CalWORKs.
