If the United States is known for anything, it is for the large fast-food chain industry that is spread across the entire country. If you feel yourself getting hungry and want to set the diet aside for today, one of the options that will probably come to mind is a delicious, juicy, and crispy pizza. Which establishments come to mind? Domino’s? Papa John’s? Pizza Hut?

All of these options are valid, but there is one brand that has managed to carve out a place in the hearts of Americans, reaching more than 10,000 locations across the country: Hunt Brothers Pizza. With an alternative business model similar to Wienerschnitzel, it is present in gas stations and convenience stores. With a menu that even includes chicken and Wingbites, it has stands open 24 hours a day.

Fast food industry in the United States

One of the traits I could say defines the United States is the large fast food industry that exists. No matter what state you are in, you will find one or two establishments open that offer hamburgers, pizzas, snacks, sandwiches, etc. There are numerous chains and brands that exist throughout the country. If you think about ordering a pizza for lunch or dinner today, which brand comes to mind? Domino’s? Papa John’s? Pizza Hut? These are just a few of many, so you have a wide range to choose your favorite.

Hunt Brothers Pizza

Founded in 1991 by brothers Don, Lonnie Jim, and Charlie Hunt, they began their journey in the fast food business working at a drive-in under their father’s supervision. It is a pizza brand mainly found in convenience stores and gas stations in the United States. Its name does not resonate like other chains, but it is present in 36 U.S. states and territories, with a high concentration in rural areas and the Midwest, although it is expanding into other markets.

Hut Brothers Pizza has bet on a business model where it partners with convenience stores and other businesses, such as local markets or even stadiums, instead of having independent restaurants. The program is designed to be easy to set up and operate with existing staff. The menu mainly offers pizzas that can be customized with thin or original crust, under the slogan ‘everything in the ingredients, at no extra cost,’ also offering other products such as chicken wings.

Hunt Brothers Pizza business model

This chain has avoided opening establishments solely for sales, instead following the model of one of the largest hot dog chains today, Wienerschnitzel. Hunt Brothers Pizza is present in gas stations and convenience stores, and you can enjoy any of their products from Montana to Florida, from New Mexico to New York. These are stands that are open 24 hours, adapting their pricing to different preferences.

Whether it’s a custom pizza or WingBites, if you stop to refuel or want a snack at a local store, you’ll have the opportunity to order any of their products. You can choose from 10 toppings, with a total of 1,024 combinations at no extra charge, or opt for their special pizzas. With a presence in 34 states and more than 10,000 locations, could it become one of your new favorites, or are you loyal to your usual tastes?

According to Eat This, the best pizza in all of the United States has already been found. Do you want to know where it is and what it’s made of? Find out more here!
